🧾 Expectations
Gangs within Blackridge County are held to a higher standard than the average citizen. By choosing to operate as a gang, you are accepting additional responsibility—not just for your own roleplay, but for the tone, quality, and direction of roleplay around you.
Gangs are expected to lead by example. Whether you are involved in conflict, business, crime, or community interaction, your conduct should reflect strong roleplay fundamentals, believable character motivations, and respect for the setting and other players.
📗 Roleplay Quality
-
Gang roleplay must be consistent, grounded, and story-driven. Actions should make sense within the world, the time period, and your character’s established background.
-
Gangs are expected to create roleplay, not rush it. Slow-burn stories, meaningful consequences, and long-term arcs are strongly encouraged.
-
Violence, hostility, and criminal actions should always be earned through roleplay, not forced, baited, or used as shortcuts.
-
Members should understand that gang roleplay is not about “winning,” but about telling compelling stories that involve others.
❗ Behaviour & Conduct
-
Gang members are expected to show maturity, restraint, and professionalism both in and out of character.
-
Poor behaviour, low-effort roleplay, or repeated rule pushing reflects not only on the individual, but on the gang as a whole.
-
Internal discipline is expected. Gang leadership should address issues within their group before staff are forced to step in.
-
OOC drama, baiting, or toxicity will not be tolerated and will be dealt with firmly.
📌 Leadership & Responsibility
-
Gang leaders are expected to actively guide their members, ensure rules are understood, and maintain roleplay standards.
-
Leadership should set the tone for how the gang interacts with law, civilians, rival groups, and staff-driven storylines.
-
Recruitment should be done carefully. Bringing someone into a gang means vouching for their roleplay ability and behaviour.
⚠️ Setting the Standard
-
Gangs are often at the center of major storylines in Blackridge County. As such, they help define what “good roleplay” looks like on the server. Your actions influence how others play, react, and immerse themselves in the world.
-
If a gang consistently fails to meet these expectations, staff reserve the right to take action, up to and including strikes, leadership changes, or removal of the gang.
-
Blackridge County thrives on strong characters, believable conflict, and mutual respect. If you choose to walk the path of a gang, you are expected to uphold those values at all times.
